Popular from the Broadway play Wicked. After seeing this play I can’t watch the Wizard of Oz the same, it’s a comspiracy against the Wicked Witch of the West!
To set up this song: the witches (Galinda the Good Witch and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West) are roommates at college and Galinda wants to help Elphaba’s image around campus. Glinda sees herself as the popular girl on campus who can, and feels it’s her duty, to help.
