The Bagel Ministry was in full force Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
Approximately 800 cookies were baked by my youngest daughter, Amanda, then several volunteers came to the house to decorate them on Christmas Eve (with a few “test” cookies to make sure they tasted ok!).
Then Christmas morning more volunteers came downtown with us to hand out hot chocolate, hot apple cider, cookies, donuts, blankets, socks, coats, gloves, beanies (hand crocheted!) and New Testaments. (click on photo for larger image)

We would like to thank all those who donated items, helped decorate cookies and helped distribute the items. God’s love was shown to the men and women in downtown Phoenix through those actions.
May we all continue to show His love to our neighbors throughout the year, not just on Christmas Day.
