This morning started out pouring rain....but the shamba loves it!

This is the second stage of the tank stand....columns are being poured for the room that will be built here for Roman.

Then it was off to Karen to pick up a deep freeze that was donated to C4KK and also to pick up a stove and refrigerator (this will be the first freezer/frig/stove the kids have had for their use).  Arriving at the freezer location Bosco saw the biggest dog he has ever seen…and became friends!

Bosco meets a new friend

On the way back to C4KK the weather didn’t let up…it rained most of the way back.  But the appliances made it.

Ann checks out the new stove....cookie baking here we come!

The new refrigerator and freezer

After the rain stopped, once we got the appliances inside, we took a look around the compound.

I thought these openings were there for the cows to look through....Chuck says they will be filled in with stone for better support....who knew!?

Then it was home, following the rainbow!

sorry for the fuzzy image...it was misty out. It ended up being double, full rainbows!

That’s the day.  Much was accomplished both at C4KK and away.

God willing tomorrow we will be moving the kids in!  They are so excited to be in their new home.  Those photos will be forthcoming, depending on how long the day is tomorrow 🙂
