Today we sized up feet for slippers (flip flops), sports shoes (tennis shoes) and school shoes. Buying one pair of shoes is one thing, buying 19 in varying styles (does the child need slippers or sports shoes or all of the above?) and sizes gets a little tricky.
That’s why we had a few samples, had everyone try on a pair and get the size for each kid. You should have seen their faces trying on nice slippers knowing in the next few days they would all have new shoes of some sort.
It’s not like these are extra shoes either. They either have no shoes and are borrowing someone elses, are wearing sports shoes to school (a big no no) or the shoes they are wearing are worn through. So you can imagine their excitement!
I was a little busy writing down sizes and names to get a photo, but will get one with the kids in their new shoes.
