Today is a big preparation day here at C4KK. The final stage of the tank stand (fingers crossed, knock on wood, God willing) will be delivered tomorrow and installed along with the 10,000 liter tank being positioned on the stand.
Prep work has begun with cleaning out the tank and having the water fundi (craftsman) fit the valves onto the tank.
Also part of prepping is figuring out what and how many pipes are needed to run the water system from the pump to tank to outlets throughout the compound. We will also be piping water into the home….running water in the kitchen sink!
I’m hoping to get some video tomorrow of the crane….may not be a big deal to you all, but here this will be a very big deal! Many have never seen a crane, let alone see one in action.
Please keep the entire work force in prayer for safety and again, God willing, we will have the tank stand and tank in position tomorrow!
