Caring for Kenya’s Kids (C4KK) is now in the process of collaborating with two physicians in the Luanda area in opening a medical clinic. We worked closely with these two doctors (Dr.’s Raphael and Edward) while doing the jigger treatments in that area. Unfortunately because they have such a heart for their community and were offering the jigger treatments for free (C4KK was subsidizing the costs of the materials and meds) the doctor who owned the clinic told them to stop. They however refused and instead decided to open up their own clinic.
C4KK helped them with 6 months rent and some furnishings plus will continue to work with them on the jigger treatments and other medical needs in the community. For some info on these two generous doctors please read previous posts, here and here.
