The past few days, or I should say nights, it has been raining…a lot! I love to hear the rain but hate all the mosquitoes it brings. We sleep under a mosquito net and so far have been lucky and none have shared our sleeping space but watching tv at night becomes a swatting competition to keep the critters at bay.
Anyway, the rain has helped the shamba (garden). I really can’t remember ever being so excited about vegetables, but seeing them grow and knowing they will feed the kids is exciting!
