Thought introductions were finally in order. C4KK now has 2 “local” cows (unlike the zero-grazing cow we will get once the animal enclosure is finished). These cows need no special food or shelter and are able to graze around the property. When they were first left at C4KK they were nervous and could hear their moms leaving. That was all it took for the two to run towards mom and break down the neighbors fence to be reunited. Bosco went running after them and it was decided to leave moms with the calves for the day.
Once end of day came it was a real struggle to get the calves into their pen without mom. After about an hour they were finally settled into their pen…not particularly happy with lots of moo’ing for mom.
The next day however they were left to graze and they seemed to be getting familiar with their surroundings. So I would like to introduce Fudge and Splash:
We also brought Viggo to C4KK to meet his new “pack”. He seemed quite comfortable on the ride up!
And he got to meet everyone and they were all pretty excited to meet him!
Although not everyone was happy to meet Viggo. Goldie is still getting used to this rambunctious puppy.
Now you’ve met the new additions to C4KK.
