Ben received three rabbits today! Two were a gift from Roman (C4KK’s grounds manager) and we bought him one. He was so excited and when I asked him how he would take care of them he said “I’ll feed them ugali, sukuma and grass. Give them water and clean out their cage.” He sounds like he’s ready to tackle this responsibility!
We also have a few new chicks on the compound…
It is quite a lively compound with 28 kids, dog (Viggo), cat (Goldie), rabbits (no names), chickens (no names) and cows (Fudge & Splash who are still with the bull awaiting baby-making time).

We raised rabbits when I was a kid on the farm. If you have both male and female rabbits. You are going to have to build a lot more pens and you are going to have to do it very soon.
