The last two days I have not felt much like posting. I’m not really sure why, stuff has been happening here, just haven’t been up to it I guess. So I’ll just give you snippets from the past few days.
After Chuck and the guys moved ufobia (still have no idea if that is spelled correctly) unbeknownst to Chuck even after showering he still had some of the liquid from the branches on his arm. He found this out the hard way….3am he woke up with his eyes burning terribly. He flushed them out but nothing worked. He did eventually get back to bed (with a bit of help from Excedrin PM). Only after waking in the morning did he see the marks on his arm from where the “poison” was still lingering. Then he realized he had slept with his arm near his eye and gotten it rubbed into the eye. Eyes are ok now, but that next day they were pretty sore.
More work was done on the play area:

It wasn’t all fun and games (as if poison in the eye is fun & games!) because we also found out a secondary student is failing….yup, got an overall E for Term 1. This school system….aaarrrggghhhh! We will not be able to talk with this student until mid-term when she returns home for a few days (around June 8). At that time we will have a very serious talk with her to discuss future options. And I had to inform another student, who was supposed to fundraise for his fees because of his bad grades but didn’t even talk to anyone about getting help, that we would not pick up the fees.
