The path has been long and filled with twists and turns but the week is finally here when First Baptist Church New Baltimore team will be in Kenya.  Whew….God continually showed Himself able and we thank Him and praise Him for being there throughout it all!

This week will be working on last minute details, making sure rooms are ready for the team, organizing bags of food in the kitchen and I’m sure other such details will show themselves in need of attention.  But I’m excited to see a friend and to meet new friends.

However all work and no play…well you know the saying.  I did take some time out on Saturday to watch a movie with the kids.  One kid even skipped getting his hair cut in order to finish watching the movie (he went to the barber on Sunday instead)!  This time we watched The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and the kids loved it!

Morris is one intent kid on the movie!

Plus our newest addition to C4KK (Sheba) enjoys her time with the kids.  She comes home with me each night but will eventually be living with the kids.

This week will be busy, not only preparations for the team but our secondary boys are returning to school after their school was burned and our secondary girls are coming home from school (they are getting out on time because no fires or strikes at their schools)….at least that is what we’ve been told, things can always change at the last minute.

Would appreciate prayers for the team’s safe journey, details work out smoothly, and also for our daughter, Tarrin (you can see what she’s up to here).  I know God hears prayers and I appreciate yours.
