Our presentation in Midland went very well – Bwana Asafiwe (Praise God)! So many interesting “coincidences” happened that I couldn’t help but know that God was working.
- Someone at the presentation knows the president of Delta College (a community college near Midland). Long story short we have been asked to be keynote speakers at Delta’s Faith-based Initiative focusing on Kenya in March.
- A neighbor, Cathy, works at a dentist office and wanted material to put in the lobby. She came by and picked up brochures, CD’s and business cards…which leads to the next point
- We went to Ponderosa (my favorite when visiting Michigan!) the same day and our waiter, Ben (hi Ben if you’re reading!), is going to Moody Bible College in Chicago studying missionary work. We gave him a card and he said that morning at the dentist Cathy talked to him about our ministry!
- We met a man who can help us get computers over to Kenya.
- We were asked to return to St. Brigid’s church (where our presentation was) next year for another update.
The list could go on and I know that God has been, is and will be forever faithful. I’m very excited to see where God is taking this ministry and how doors are opening. What a blessing to be a part of doing His work for His children in Kenya.
Glad to hear things are going well in the presentations.
Currently, not sure how long it will last, you can bring into Kenya duty free (tax free) new computers and computer related products.
