We recently received an email from Francisca (Frannie is the manager and a board member of Eldama Ravine Children’s Village). She says the children are doing well in school and getting ready for their mid-term exams – please pray for their studies.
She also sent us a few pictures:
(Please forgive the quality, scanning 35mm pictures doesn’t make for high quality photos)
The kids look happy, but a few of them look cold in the pictures with those heavy jackets, hats and boots! Which brings me to another issue Frannie brought up in her email:
i want to address the issue of a breakout of malaria and cold and flu which is a problem at the moment becauseof change in climate, this has affected most of the children especially for the last three weeks. We have been taking them to the doctor for medication
They had a bill with the daktari (doctor) and he “requested that we clear”. The next day we were able to send her the funds to pay the bill.
We’re thankful for your continued support of this ministry and as Frannie also said in her email:
i know you will be happy to see what God is doing in their lifes
