Alice Mukoya (Child Number ER102)
Alice was born in 2000 in Butere Mumias District.
She is the youngest child of six and her older sister, Gladys, also borders at Eldama Ravine Children’s Village with her. (many times families are split apart, so it was fortunate these two sisters were able to stay together)
Her father died a few years ago, and because he provided for the family her mother was not able to continue to provide for all of the children.
Alice was assisted by the area Chief to be admitted at the Children’s Village in February 2007 together with her older sister.
She is currently attending Eldama Ravine Primary School.
