We noticed while walking around the village of Tala (back in 2008)  there were many children and they love to be on camera!

In the video you hear:

  • me saying “sasa” which is a greeting for kids meaning hi (literal Swahili translation is now) and their reply is “feet” (probably spelled wrong, sorry) acknowledging my greeting.
  • you can hear a kid at the end saying “we’ – pronounced way which means “you”, it’s like they are saying “hey you” trying to get someones attention.

As we take one step closer to our permanent move to Kenya (May 2010) we continue to lift up the needs of the children, staff, caretakers etc. at Nice View Academy/Orphanage, Mercy Child Foundation and Eldama Ravine Children’s Village.
