It’s been a whirlwind week back in Michigan:
- Mom and I worked on (and finished) the quilt
- we totally surprised my mom (and uncle) with a surprise 70th birthday party
- spent time with my mom and sister before Chuck and I leave the country (May 4th is our departure date)
- got to see Chuck’s parents one more time
- and the Lord totally got me through speaking at 3 services and a luncheon Sunday! (no pictures of that)
Now today is a travel day back to Arizona…I’ll be glad to be back in warm weather! But as soon as I set foot on Arizona soil it’s go, go, go for the last of the packing and preparing for the move. Those last minute things that always seem to show up at, well, the last minute are showing up. I have to completely lay the anxiety, worry, and stress at the cross and ask the Lord to guide these last steps before being on the ground in Kenya.
“For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.” Psalm 48:14
