Shavler Jepkurui (Child No. ER113)
Shalver was born in Sotik-Kericho, Kenya in 1996 and has three siblings.
Her mother is unemployed and her father, Pastor Philip Ngetich is the pastor to the church where the children fellowship. Pastors are poorly paid in Kenya (if at all) and her father could not afford to take care of all of the children. Eldama Ravine Children’s Village has her live with them to relive some of the burden of her parents so Pastor Philip can continue to teach and preach the Word of God.
She attends school with the other children who live at the Village.
