Been honing a schedule for the kids (what they are expected to do once they are home from school, etc.) over the past few days.  It has been a bit difficult because I get different answers from different people as to what they actually do and with 29 kids you can imagine the varied schedules!

But I believe we have finally gotten something concrete on paper and I’ll be posting the schedules in the dorm rooms and in a high traffic area so no one has an excuse!  We actually had the older kids ask for a schedule.  Kevin, a very intelligent 8th grader, wanted to know why the younger kids (5th, 6th, 7th graders) weren’t studying like they should and suggested a schedule to enforce a study period!

I also know kids will be kids and they will need to be reminded of what they are supposed to be doing at a particular time.  Just another reason for us being on-site full time.  Which reminds me, our matching donation for the mission home will be ending July 31.  We are $1300 short from the goal of $5000.  Thank you to everyone who contributed and for your prayerful consideration.

SiSi and Isaac had gone to their eye check up in the morning (everything is fine and glasses are working great) so did not go to school the rest of the day…..perfect, because I used their help in separating my foam stickers!

And I think the final schedule not only “works” for the kids but looks kinda cute too!
