It was a little iffy at first, the rain came down in torrents….making a river outside my office window and a mess of the compound, but throughout it all the electricity never went off once! The kids had their usual Saturday morning tutoring and with all the rain we were able to see where leaks needed to be plugged and where drainage needed to be enhanced. There was also a little work done on the new showers, in between bouts of rainfall.

The commercial shamba area was tilled…luckily before it rained!
Then it was movie time and with the electricity staying on we were able to watch Harry Potter in its entirety! Well at least most of us watched it!
I guess Bonface finds my lap comfortable enough to take a nap 🙂
That’s our productive, rainy, entertaining Saturday.
