Here’s an honest admission, I’m staying home for a few days to get some house cleaning done. Not much of an admission but it’s true because after being at C4KK all day, coming home, showering, making dinner and cleaning up dishes I really don’t have the energy to start sweeping, mopping and dusting. Plus on the one day we do stay home, Sunday, I want to catch up on reading or watch a movie.
The one thing about staying home though is running a children’s home comes with issues, problems, situations on a daily basis and with me not there Chuck is left holding the bag. Right now Kevin is getting ready to leave for secondary school, we are discussing options for Doris’ secondary schooling and it’s time for the monthly inventory to be done….just to name a few issues.
I know I’ve said it before (and I’m sure I’ll say it again) but it will be nice when the Mission Home is on C4KK’s property. Until then I’ll let the dust settle at home for as long as I can stand it before staying home to clean again.
