In case you missed January’s newsletter it seems God is leading us for a visit to the US this year. Things seem to be falling into place for this to happen, thank you God. Chuck and I continue teaching the staff so they will be prepared to handle daily situations, without us being on the ground with them (physically that is, we’ll keep in touch via phone and email…which is one thing we need to teach, computer skills!)
Now this is all God willing and another affirmation will be funding. If you feel lead to help us get back to the US please visit our donation page, allocate your donation to “Mission Support” and in the comment section please write “Come Home.”
Tentative plans being discussed are returning to the US in August and staying through November. Which puts me in the “what do I need to get done” mode! I want to work on a video of the children’s home so we have something to show peeps, getting paperwork organized so it’s easier for Ann to make out monthly meal plans, food orders and inventory and other various details that aren’t coming to mind at the moment.
I guess I’m optimistic that we will actually be coming “home” for a visit 🙂 It will be three years this May since we’ve been back and yes I am excited to see my kids, family and friends. But I also want to make sure I’m hearing God’s direction in all of this…no matter my desires or wants for the situation. Thanks for your prayers and prayerful consideration.
