It’s Saturday here at C4KK and that means movie day. I’m looking forward to it but at the same time not. The past few days have been a bit frustrating (and I’m not going to bore you with all the ugly details, simply an overview). Wednesday I was at C4KK but the electricity was out all day so I couldn’t get any work done on the computer/internet. Thursday I stayed home and we have very bad connectivity at home, however I was able to chat with my daughter, Tarrin, on my Note….that is until my credit ran out for internet. Then Friday we were at C4KK and lo’ and behold no electricity again all day.
Today I’m attempting to get things done on the computer since we have electricity and internet (thank you Jesus). We just finished a long morning meeting with a staff member discussing various issues. It was very informative, insightful and helpful so it was time well spent. And I have to go through May menus to figure out an issue with the amount of food being requested to be purchased for May. Again that is putting it simply, too many ugly details to get into.
I better put a soda in the freezer so after lunch I can sit down and enjoy a movie with the kids.
UPDATE: No soda in the freezer, it’s 4pm and we are just finishing the food issue…no movie today.
