Today I did some painting. I’m ok with painting but what I don’t like is painting stuff that was supposed to be painted by the painters. Seems many people we contract work out to think that a job done 95% complete is done. Frustrating but as you can see I did paint and almost finished the job (it’s late, I’m hungry and tired, it’s raining and chilly and I need a shower…enough whining!)
Quick recap on the mission home:
- construction on kitchen cabinets has begun
- tile is almost completely laid and grout is being put on where tile is done
- shower heads were installed (not hooked up to electrical yet)
- painting is just about complete too
It’s coming along but as you can see from our thermometer, we are still short of our goal (we actually have 363 1/4 but the thermometer wouldn’t show the 1/4).
