Well, not quite all the way around, it’s actually about half way around the world, but you get the idea. Chuck and I take off from Nairobi tonight around midnight and will eventually land in Detroit, MI around 4:30 pm on Thursday. We’ll be in the States until the beginning of December and we are still open for speaking engagements! Please click on the Calendar button below to see where we will be and what days/time are currently open, we’d love to meet you or catch up! Drop me an email and we can set something up 🙂
We also have hats available. Click on the Hat button below for details on how to receive your very own Caring for Kenya’s Kids hat!
So what do we do our last day in Kenya? Weather strip the doors of course!
Dad sent us the weather stripping a few months ago and we are finally getting some of it installed. We wanted to deter as many creepy crawlies as possible from setting up residence while we are gone!
But we also swept the entire home (boy is it going to be dusty when we return), closed all the windows, ate the rest of the food out of the frig, drank the last of the water (grateful we still have a bottle of Coke Zero to drink!) and completed our packing! Now we are getting things charged (thank you Lord for electricity) and updated (have to use up our internet otherwise we lose whatever we have left on it) and, obviously getting this blog post posted.
As I begin shutting down for the day I must say a big thank you to friends and family for EVERYTHING you have done and continue to do for us, this ministry and our children at C4KK. Nothing which has been done here is by my hand, God has provided, through you, all that is here at C4KK. May you be blessed in the knowledge your sacrifice (time, money, possessions, etc.) continues to help the least of these….The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40
My next post will be brought to you from US soil. Praying we are able to see many of you during our 4 month furlough. Have a blessed week!
