Well if you haven’t already heard Chuck and I made it to Phoenix! It was a long drive but praise God we made it. I however did get sick with sinus issues the night before arriving in Phoenix but with a ton of sleep (getting up every couple of hours as I heard one more of my kids arrive home to give them a hug and go back to bed) I am feeling better. Still cold symptoms but much, much better. And it’s been great sitting around the table talking, watching a movie (while eating Amanda’s delicious homemade mac & cheese!), giving each kid a hug as they walk out the door for work/school. I am so thankful for this opportunity and I thank all who have made this trip a reality!
Unfortunately since arriving in Phoenix I had been unable to connect my computer to the internet…meaning no updates for you unless I get wi-fi elsewhere (which I did but not able to update the blog/website). This morning I reset the router and my computer hooked up….so here’s the big news!
Phase I is done! A generous donor has completed the goal of 500 stones to complete the ground floor of C4KK Mission Home! Once we arrive back in Kenya this will be finished! Thank you donor and thank you Father for your continued providence!
Now we move onto the upper floor. This floor will serve many purposes…..church gathering, Bible studies throughout the week, study area for the kids, play area for the kids (board games, movies, etc.), community gathering area for functions and many other similar activities can be held in this area.
And God continues to bless us…we have another donor challenging everyone with a $12,000 matching program until November 30! That’s right, every dollar will be matched….$100 stone becomes 2-$100 stones!

Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration.
