That’s what I have to keep telling myself when I start thinking about being away from my (young adult) kids. We had such a good time with them and it was hard saying goodbye. What a blessing they are to me and I’m so proud of each one for the wonderful young people they are!
Now we are in Houston (it’s Thursday night) and will see Tarrin tomorrow. Unfortunately she told us she was quite ill today so we are praying she feels better tomorrow for our one day together. Then on Saturday morning we will take off and head toward Michigan.
We’ll have about two weeks there and they will be full with speaking engagements, family commitments, medical stuff and PACKING. I will have approximately 10-12 bags to organize and pack for the trip back.
Also the matching program continues. We have gotten half and that means we have $6,000 still left to be matched. If you would like to help with that please visit the Stack the Stones page for details.
Prayer requests:
- Tarrin to feel better so she will enjoy our day…although I’ll still get to hug her 🙂
- medical stuff in MI goes well. We are trusting God with the whole situation but pray for his guidance throughout
- funds are available for the excess bags we would like to take back with us ($200 per bag)
- the matching program will be fully funded
- safe travels as we continue our drive back to Michigan and then on December 7 leaving from Detroit to Kenya
- the kids at C4KK safe travels as they also travel back to their home villages for visits during December
Thank you all for your prayers and being a part of this ministry!
Hope all went well for you both on your resent visit to the USA.
Sorry we were not able to connect. We had the house fire, computer replaced as I lost all of my contact information ect…..
Travel safe and may God be with you on your trip back HOME.
