Our first week back in Kenya and it’s been a busy one.  We finally got all the suitcases unpacked and from the looks of it most of them were intact…one thing I know is missing from the luggage were two aprons my mom had made for the staff (that was a bummer because they were very nice aprons).  But just from my memory it seems most everything else is here.  Thanks so much for the prayer support on that issue.  Then we began organizing the items into distribution piles 🙂

Peter and Fridah (C4KK social workers) had the task of organizing their office with some of the supplies you all so graciously donated!

I thanked Roman for the beautiful flowers which were planted while we were in the States:

Chuck and I hung up photos, calendars, white boards, etc. and I also sat out a few of my candles and got my kitchen looking more lived in:

On Saturday the staff had a Red Cross training day:

It feels good to be back and settling into our own space….we do miss our family and friends but you certainly filled us up with love, encouragement and support which helps us to continue on with the work the Lord has called us to!
