Unlike my new year’s post I didn’t forget to post this but we had our Christmas celebration with the kids today. The rest of the kids arrived safely last night around 10 pm and most begin school tomorrow so we got our party in today!

Last week I baked about 200 cookies and froze them until I frosted them this morning for the party.

Chuck presented the Gospel and prayed for all the kids, food, staff and for God’s gift of Jesus Christ.

We had chicken and chips for lunch (and everyone got a soda)!

Then it was time for cookies and tea….they went through those 200 cookies in record time!

Gift time!  We handed out gifts from sponsors and donors and ended gift time with quilts my mom made for each kid (with their name on the quilt and pillow).

Secondary kids received a torch (flashlight), bandana, gloves, keychain (for the boys) and necklace (for Doris).

Primary kids received a lunch box, gloves, bandana, keychain (for the boys) and necklace (for the girls).

The quilts were quickly taken to their rooms and put on the beds!

Thank you donors for this wonderful celebration!  The kids had a great time and we thank God for your faithfulness to this ministry and our kids at C4KK.
