Worship night

Last night we had worship time with the kids:

We sang songs, learned of Jesus’ redemption (singing Our Redeemer Lives) and chatting the way forward.  The kids love learning new songs and hearing about the Gospel (I’ll have a Mission Moment with their singing in the future).

Afterwards Chuck and I walked around the compound and I was able to see the new security lights which were installed near the animal shelter:

Today (Thursday) we picked up our bond stuff from the bank (thank you donors for helping with this unexpected expense) and will head to Nairobi tomorrow to (hopefully) pick up the permit.  Thank you all for the prayers during this time, we certainly had God’s peace among us and knowledge He was (and is) always in control!
