The C4KK Community Outreach Team continues showing the love of Christ to their neighbors!  Here are two such projects:

Grandma Margaret is getting a new pit latrine.

The Team also built her a makeshift outdoor kitchen out of the old tin sheets from her roof (no more smoke filled home because of cooking inside).

Fridah (C4KK’s social worker) is working with the local primary school and those students most in need of school uniform, innerwear (underwear, etc.) and sanitary pads.  She will also visit each home to see how the Benevolence Fund can assist in any home needs.

A meeting was held at C4KK today to discuss the procedure and the parents/guardians responsibility as part of the program.  There are a total of 71 children in need of assistance and as funding comes in we will work through the entire group.  Here’s a few of the first group:

Want to be a part of projects like these?  Please consider visiting us some time!  We have a group coming in August and we’d love to see more visitors to share what life is like here in Kenya and how the hope of Jesus Christ is being shown.  Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about bringing a group or visiting as an individual.

Or perhaps you aren’t “called” to go but instead called to support….that’s easy 🙂  Simply go to our donation page, fill out the form and then watch the blog for updates on how your assistance is helping.  The Benevolence Fund is still in need of monthly donors to help the C4KK Community Outreach Team continue helping those in desperate need.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration and have a blessed weekend.
