Didn’t realize it had been so long since I updated the blog, sorry. However it has been a pretty bad week for electricity, so that’s my reasoning and I’m sticking with that 🙂 Update: As I finished the last sentence of this blog and was about to hit ‘post’ the electricity went off once again. I had to go outside, walk our walking path to get rid of some steam, remember how blessed I actually am and wait for steamer to come back on….now let me get this posted!
The kids have all returned to school so that makes for a very quiet compound during the day and they are all focused for this last term of the year, especially our Class 8’s and Form 4’s…please keep them in your prayers.
Plus here’s a few things happening through the Benevolence fund:
God is FAITHFUL. Look at Ken now. He can move around and have enough sunshine after being bedridden for about four months. He was involved in a motorbike accident that almost claimed his life. He had to endure two months at the hospital waiting for a good samaritan to come his way so that he undergo a surgery to fix the broken thigh bones. Thank God, someone gave. The rider of the bike was not all that lucky and is still bedridden at the hospital. Ken and his family received Christ into their lives and are really doing well. I found them a church where they can go for fellowship and grow spiritually once he fully recovers
Carolyn now has a mattress to begin a new life with her sister at Elizabeth’s house after their motherr abandoned them at Luanda market. C4KK [Benevolence fund has] also bought them school uniforms and shoes already to give them hope to keep going on. Glory be to God.
Their mother packed up the household and left these two girls (both class 7) at the local market. She told them “everybody for herself”. Please pray with us for a way forward with these two precious girls. (Elizabeth is a nurse who has volunteered her time and knowledge working with Pastor Joseck through the C4KK Community Outreach Team.)
To God be the glory.. much thanks to [the C4KK Benevolence fund] and all those who contributed towards this noble course..God’s love is been felt by what you have just done for us. God bless you
