Today I wanted to simply explain the relationship between Saved By God’s Grace and Caring for Kenya’s Kids.

Saved By God’s Grace is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) established in 2007 in the United States.  Donations to this ministry are tax-deductible (for those living in the United States).  You can read our Mission Statement, Vision and Values here.  We work with the marginalized, vulnerable, orphaned children and their caregivers in Kenya (that’s in a nutshell, please read the Mission Statement for in depth info).

Caring for Kenya’s Kids (C4KK) is a non-governmental organization (similar to the US non-profit) established in 2010 in Kenya, Africa.  C4KK has a web presence (www.C4KK.org) which primarily focuses on C4KK Children’s Home and C4KK Benevolence Projects.

Now for the relationship….Saved By God’s Grace funds C4KK through your donations.  When you donate to Saved By God’s Grace you are assisting those orphans and widows whom God has allowed us to serve in Kenya.

What are the donation options?

1)  Our secure, online donation site.  When giving through this portal you will be automatically receipted and those living in the U.S. can use this receipt for tax purposes.

2)  By check.  You can write a check payable to “Saved By God’s Grace” and send it to our Phoenix, Arizona mail box.  A tax receipt will be sent to the address listed on the check.

3)  Via mPesa.  This option is for those living in Kenya. If using this option please sms to the same number how you would like your donation to be used (i.e. sufrias).  The number to mPesa is

Both organizations were founded by Chuck and I and we sit on the Boards of both.  We currently have Board meetings with the Saved By God’s Grace Board members from Phoenix via skype on a monthly basis and with the Caring for Kenya’s Kids Board members at the Mission Home here in Joska, Kenya.

That is a brief description and I hope I explained it well.  If not you are always welcome to email me or Chuck with any questions you may have regarding either of these ministries, Saved By God’s Grace or Caring for Kenya’s Kids.

Please feel free to “browse” around both websites to see what’s happening.  You can keep updated by visiting Our Blog, signing up for the monthly e-newsletter or following us on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube or via Rss feed.  You can find the link to these various social media avenues here.

Thanks for letting me take care of some business and hopefully now you have a clearer understanding of how God works through both ministries.
