Boy is it quiet around here today.  The majority of the kids left at 4:30 this morning with Peter to head to their relatives.  They spent the past couple of days getting ready, washing clothes, cleaning the dorms, and packing.  We have just a few of the kids left here and they are doing last minute cleaning before leaving.

So I guess I’m just preparing you all for a “no kid” zone, at least from C4KK.  They’ll all be gone until the beginning of January so we’ll hear from them via the phone, but we won’t see them until next year.  And yes, they are all very excited to have this time with relatives.  Thank you sponsors for helping with their transportation.

However, I will continue to keep you updated with what’s happening with C4KK Benevolence and stuff happening around here:

Before our high school graduates left for their homes we got a little bit of work out of them.

Ok, so I might be a bit too excited about this but Chuck and I were able to have a lunch date and I celebrated…it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right!?

We are trying to get Magnum to eat some solid food….pellets mixed with molasses…yummy!  Now if he’ll just eat it out of the bucket instead of off Chuck’s hand.
