Yes folks we made it back to C4KK safe and sound. We had to go through 7 police checks on the way home and each time I saw the sign my stomach did a little flip, but God granted us the pleasure of not being stopped for any of them! If that doesn’t really make sense to you please read this post 🙂
So I’m tired, achy and hungry so this will be a quick post, hope you don’t mind.
Here I am sitting at the police station yesterday…seven hours, but I certainly didn’t have the ‘excitement’ Chuck had so it was all good!
Just some pretty landscape on the way home, which reminds me of Phoenix.
Baboons lounging on the side of the road
and zebras too!Once we got home I had to go out back with Bear and Pixie and spend some time with them. They were so excited to see us! Then they came inside, followed me around the house until I finally gave them both a badly needed bath and they fell asleep. It’s good to be home!
Thank you everyone for your prayers this past week or so. God certainly was glorified in Luanda and many people saw the love of Jesus Christ being lived out. My prayer is Joseck will find others to partner with him in Luanda as he continues ministering to the lost, broken, hurting and hopeless. If you’d like to be a part of this ministry please don’t hesitate! You can get started by visiting our donation page for information. Thank you and please keep Saved By God’s Grace/Caring for Kenya’s Kids in your prayers!
Rest my friend. Spend some time in his word
Prov. 28:27 ” He who gives to the poor will lack nothing……” I pray to God that as you have purposed to give out your time, love and resources to the poor and needy; may your wells never run dry. May God remember all the sacrifices made by each and everyone that is in one way or other committed to this worthy course. Hope to join you in the next mission trip. You are constantly in my prayers. Mungu awabariki.
Kindest Regards,
Salome.
