Some of you may know that I like (I mean really like) bullet lists! Keeps my aging mind in order I guess. Today here’s my bullet list of what occurred in a single day through C4KK Benevolence:
- a mom, who had been held at the hospital for 2 weeks because she couldn’t pay, was released from hospital prison
- a 14 year old who is suffering from AIDS and is not expected to live much longer was also released from hospital prison. Her family could not afford to pay the bill but wanted her home so she could die with family surrounding her
- food and cleaning supplies were delivered to various families who are suffering from AIDS and cancer
- pain medication was also delivered to those suffering various afflictions (mostly AIDS related illnesses)
- a baby was admitted into the hospital and all medications necessary for his treatment were paid through C4KK Benevolence
- a homeless boy was given some food (and a bit of love on the side)
- a child was enrolled in school
- two children who have been treated for jiggers (through C4KK Benevolence) and were not going to school because of the stigma and pain, were given school uniform & shoes and textbooks so they could return to school.
- a family was given a bunk bed so they no longer sleep on the floor
- food was distributed to several families in the Luanda area
I may have missed a few points but I guess you get the idea….a lot happens on a daily basis through the C4KK Benevolence and that is in part because of your commitment to financially support this ministry. Thank you for your continued support and have a blessed day!
