John 15:17
This is my command: Love each other.
Sounds simple doesn’t it? Yet it may be one of the toughest things I try to do (there’s my first offense….I try). I know I can only love others as much as I accept the love of my Savior and allow His love to flow from Him through me to others. Again, sounds simple huh? Oh boy, this business of loving each other is tough work, something to be worked out each and every day (moment by moment usually). I’ve often thought this business of ministry would be much easier if it didn’t involve people!
That’s why it’s such a blessing when someone is assisted (whom we have never met) praises God for His provision, for their trusting and coming to realize God remembers and loves them. And isn’t that what love is about? Opening up the heart for the love of Jesus Christ to shine through? It isn’t about us getting something (thanks or recognition) but rather us giving something…hope through Jesus Christ.
Please know you, our donors, are prayed for and we thank God for you because it is through your support we can continue to do what we do. You may not want or need the thanks or recognition but you are being lifted up in prayer to our Heavenly Father.
I humbly ask if you are not financially supporting this ministry to prayerfully consider it. Every bit helps and is used to bring hope to those with little or no hope. You can visit our donation page for more information on how to begin your support. For those in Kenya who are looking for a way to assist you can visit our C4KK website for donation options.
Thank you again and praying that loving each other becomes easier and easier as we become closer to God.
