I may want answers but I certainly don’t always get them.  I believe we aren’t always given answers so we’ll be more dependent on God and continue to put one foot in front of the other in faith.  After all, if we knew the answers we really wouldn’t need faith, would we?

I also know that all of us can be answers to those asking for help.  Your financial support brings those tangible answers to orphans and widows in Kenya, whether that be food, medicine, education, housing or a whispered “I love you and God loves you.”

These are a few of the situations happening right now in Kenya.  I don’t understand how we, as a human race, can be so cruel to each other but I’m so very thankful for these men who are showing the love of Christ to everyone they meet.  Please keep Ben, Joseck and the rest of the C4KK Outreach Team in prayer….they need God’s strength every single day.

Sophie’ family lives under open sky, with holes in the roof, besides they have just a mosquito net and a few rags to cover their head. They are literally abandoned!!

Beautiful kids living like refugees within our communities – helo, let’s be our brother’s keepers. He who gives to the poor lends to God.

I have no medication that can cure people with HIV /AIDS, nothing to alleviate their pain, nothing to restore them to health. But I offer the one thing that all of us can offer. I offer my presence, I put my arms gently around the dying, pray for relief from their suffering, bring them food, bathe them and to whisper, “I love you.”

Father and son staring at death. The man is 25 years old and together with his son are living with the hi -virus. With no one to feed and take care of them. I want to show Kassim some love and care.

Thank God I carried some chapati and biscuits and it was a blessing sharing with my little friend. I am told he has gone empty for the last four or more days. Remember he is HIV positive. Praying.

I went looking for him and found them abandoned, hungry and sickly. The woman whom was taking care of them demanded to be paid and when I failed to send her the money she took the bed and mattress that I had bought for Kassim and his father and sister. I am thinking of bringing him to Nakuru. I know legally it may not work, but I am touched and i want to be there for him and maybe the sister.

The children were making fun of how the leopard or another wild animal would have attacked them had we not come to their rescue. There was great joy in this home today. I am so glad someone gave.

Men at work. I am so glad someone gave now a widow and her children don’t have to sleep in fear of the leopard that roams at night in this village.

How do you say “no” when an orphaned child ask you to give her some food? I had no food for her family today, but i am glad I helped her sickly mom with rent issue and brought her some pain killer medicine that she badly needed. If the Lord provides I will return to her with some goodies.

My heart has been hurting from the suffering I see in these few photos. I ask “why?” but I know the answer…sin is a part of this fallen world.  However, having Jesus’ hope spurs me on to continue not only to share these photos and stories with you but also to bring this same hope to those in Kenya through whatever assistance we can provide.

Be the answer to someone in need today, whether that be your immediate neighbor, family or someone around the globe.  Helping Saved By God’s Grace can be done through our Donate Page.  Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
