Tomorrow Chuck and I will be leaving for a “counseling retreat” of sorts.  We are praying for wise counsel, direction and hopefully some answers too and your prayers are appreciated.  So that means I won’t be posting to the blog all week but I wanted to leave you with a few updates on what’s happening in Kenya with Saved By God’s Grace and C4KK:

C4kk mission team, changing lives of the disadvantaged in Luanda . we bought a special wheelchair for Matthew Tumbo. Before this, he used to crawl on his four. To God be the glory. – Joseck, Luanda C4KK mission team.

Matthew’s leg was deformed because of a break which was never treated properly.

And I got a huge hug from Tumbo. He cried tears of joy saying, “Mungu amenikumbuka”- meaning, God has remembered me in my suffering.

And we prayed for him when he acknowledge Christ is Lord. That’s the ultimate Hope of glory

Saved By God’s Grace has funded a new microscope for the St. Raphael Medical Clinic in Luanda.  Joseck tells us “many sick people are praising God for this.  Before they used to travel for long distances to get lab tests.  Yes, to God be the glory.

Our friend Ben in Nakuru continues assisting those living with HIV/AIDS in his community.  Here is one of the support groups he attends with them.

He, along with Saved By God’s Grace, has gotten several students back into school by paying their school fees.  Regardless of what you hear about free education in Kenya families are required to pay in order for their child to attend school.

Kids at Wasamaria Wema continue getting food each day because of your support….please keep it coming so we can continue with all our feeding programs!

And to make matters even harder, Joseck is struggling with Kenya Power which has left them in the dark for days on end.  I know he would appreciate your prayers for his continued strength to continue on each day regardless of how dark it gets.
