Roseline a widow straps her 18 months grandchild on the back most of the times when doing manual jobs to fend for seven of her own children who live with her in this ‘house ‘. The roof is as good as having no roof at all.
This grandmother “is everything to these grandchildren. I wonder what would happen if God would call grandma home!”
Surely, if your neighbour is poor, you are poor too. See, the state of their house, the elder son just came home from school hungry and all he can find to eat..dried ugali (cornmeal) remnants socked with some water to make it tender.
The little ” girl ” in checked dress is a boy . he shares with her sister’s because they don’t have enough clothes for everyone.
Grandma Lucia lives here with eight grandkids. Her sons died and her daughter inlaws abandoned her with the children in search of better life. She is sickly and barely finds a meal to feed themselves. The roof has plenty of gapping holes and sleep on rugs down on the floor . what a life!
These are but a few of the situations which Saved By God’s Grace has been made aware of over the past few days through our fellow worker, Joseck. If there is any financial assistance you can give it would be appreciated. You can go to our Donate Page to set up a one-time or recurring donation. Chuck and I are also available for speaking engagements with your civic group, Bible study, book club or simply getting friends together. Please contact us if you are interested in setting something up.
Joseck says it best through scripture and his own plea….
” Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to me.” (Mathew 25:40).This are the Words of Jesus our Lord and Saviour. What can you do for Him today? Here is an opportunity!
