Here at Saved By God’s Grace we hope to encourage you with stories which deserve an AMEN! We also want to present to you the needs we are asked to assist with so you have an opportunity to help.
Our team member, Ben, works tirelessly in the slums. He “happens upon” children every day (I believe these are God’s introductions) who are in need but with limited resources only so much can be done.

“Please take us to school “. This is the cry of Mary Wambui 11, and Rose Nyambura 6. I know that if they are given a chance to education they can really go far. If the good Lord lays it in your heart to help please do so.
Ben has “found them chances in two different primary schools. Now, what is hindering them is school fees, school uniforms, school shoes, books etc.” $300 will get them both into school and a full school uniform.
Here they are sitting “on what they call their bed and mattress (stones, carton boxes, and clothes ). Their mother has been sickly battling with diseases related to the hi- virus..” $160 will get 1 bunk bed along with mattresses and blankets.
“He comes to our house daily from school to eat something before going home. He is an orphan in need and we are always glad to share with him. Recently my daughters donated books to him.”
For us (Ben and his family) it has been a life of sacrifices so that these bright but needy children can finish their secondary school education and join the universities. This is the fourth year we are supporting Daisy with school fees and other basic needs. She will be graduating from high school this year and as of today we have been able to clear all her school fees for this year. I am so glad someone supported.
Ben faces many difficulties each and every day and by God’s grace he continues to fight for orphaned and vulnerable children. Please consider assisting by contributing to the Benevolence Fund at our Donate Page.
Early last year we met an orphaned girl aged 15, who was doing prostitution to survive. We preached to her and she gave up the kind of life she was living. We took her back to school and she was registered to do her final primary exams. Life treated her negatively that she decided to go back to what she was doing. We never gave up on her and travelled to her village in search of her. Well, to cut a long story short..we found her locked up in a brothel talked with her again and she agreed to go to school. By then she had only a week to prepare for her final exams. A pastor agreed to stay with her and since then she has been a good girl. Now, she scored 275/500 marks and badly wants to join high school so that she does not return to prostitution. Pray with and for her if you can.
“Progress. A happy Hellen 13, in her new school dress.”
“Happy to receive text books. I am so glad someone gave.”
Dear friends I visited a slum and found these girls and boy all by themselves after their mother was arrested and taken behind bars for failing to take them to school.
$500 will help get them and other children into school and get the parents released from jail.
If any of these touch your heart and you are lead to give please mark “Benevolence Fund” when donating online. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
