Think about your child having this problem when they simply want to go to high school.

A fellow team member (Ben) in Kenya sent this to us:

“I know I have been too much with this helping bright orphaned and needy children thing. I have made sure many of them continue with school forgetting about my needs. But dear friends today I had these two orphans from the village who came looking for Ben. A girl and a boy. The boy is a total orphan while the girl is fatherless, but her poor mother cannot afford to help. The boy has been hired by his uncle to be a cattle herder while the girl was being forced to compromise her dignity before being “helped ” to join high school of which she refused. Boy has 361 marks while the girl has 352 marks. Please pray for these two fatherless bright children. Maybe God will touch the heart of a king somewhere to come to their rescue.”

So to be clear on this situation, the girl is being forced to have sex (thankfully she refused) before any assistance would be given (if it would be given at all) and the boy is forced to herd cattle instead of going to school.  Their marks are very high for Kenya and assistance for their education would be a huge blessing.

The cost of helping each into school would be $250 per child.  Imagine the delight on their faces when they are told “welcome to school” instead of worrying about being asked to have sex or tending cattle?

There are hundreds upon hundreds of students like these two and I know we can’t assist them all but we can help those God brings into our lives with your financial support.

Please consider a one-time donation of $250 (or more) to assist one or both of these bright students.

And to show progress with the students in Kenya here’s another snippet we received from Ben:

Giving isn’t just making a donation, it’s making a DIFFERENCE. Through your giving we are able to help many bright, but orphaned or needy children experience a difference in their lives! Today, we paid Stephen’s school fees and he no longer needs to be worried about being sent away from school for fees. He doesn’t also have to be leaving home at 4 am to dodge the guards at the school gate. I am so glad someone gave.

Both the school’s principal and the teachers say he is such a bright boy and has the potential to perform well. They were all amazed at the love of God that touched our hearts to be a blessing to Stephen. Asante sana

Please prayerfully consider either a one-time donation or becoming a monthly supporter of Saved By God’s Grace….as Ben said, “Giving isn’t just making a donation, it’s making a DIFFERENCE“.
