Well I guess it was more than a “bump”, more like a full blown heart attack! I’m not sure how many of you had heard, but Chuck had a heart attack on December 4. He had to have emergency by pass surgery and had 5 by passes performed! Thank God he pulled through and is now at home recovering. We’ve been told it will be a slow recovery but we are trusting God to walk with us each and every step. We appreciate your prayers for his recovery.
So that kind of explains why I haven’t written, however I would like to just mention a few things regarding the ministry.
If you are looking for year end giving opportunities please consider Saved By God’s Grace. Your donation needs to be in by December 31 in order for your tax receipt to show 2016.
A few things we are looking to fund are:
- Getting kids back into school in January – $5000
- Working on the chicken project – $5000
- Helping an 8th grade girl who was gang raped. She will be delivering within the next few weeks and $1000 would help us with the hospital costs and food. She had a 341 out of 500 score on her 8th grade exam and we are praying we can help her move forward in her life after this horrible incident.
We are also seeking new monthly donors in order to increase what we already do. We’d love to feed more grandmothers, put more kids into school, alleviate pain to those suffering from AIDS and to reach as many people as possible with the saving news of Jesus Christ. Please consider joining with us and have a very blessed holiday season.
Chuck, sorry to hear of your surgery but happy that you are recovering. You will be in our prayers for a full & speedy recovery. God bless you & Tammy & your ministry.
