It’s been pretty busy for our people on the ground working with food programs, HIV/AIDs, medical issues, school issues and jiggers. Thanks to the generous donations by Desert Breeze Community Church through their Angel Tree program we’ve been able to fund another jigger treatment at a local school in Kenya!
I truly wish we could say jiggers are no longer a threat to our children but that is certainly not the case, but thanks to these contributions we can help alleviate the pain and the stigma for several more children.
Treating jiggers is a big part of what we do in Luanda, Kenya and in order for us to continue helping these kids, and adults, we need your help. Please consider becoming a partner with us today!
The line of students, and adults, who are in need of treatment is always long.
We’ve learned to pack our necessary supplies neatly in order for the treatments to go smoothly.
Treating jiggers is a time consuming effort but one that is well worth every minute.
Our friend, Joseck, works tirelessly assisting those affected by jiggers.
All of us here at Saved By God’s Grace and our Kenyan sister organization, Caring for Kenya’s Kids, thanks you for all you have done and continue to do for widows and orphans in Kenya, Africa.
Chuck and I are available to share more about this ministry with you, whether that be a book club, life group, Church group, friends or simply a family gathering. Please feel free to share this with others so the plight of our friends and neighbors in Kenya can be heard. Thank you and God bless!
