Beds are now being distributed from our recent Angel Tree Project (you can read more here and here).
If you can, try to imagine sleeping every night on a cold, dirt floor. Not only being cold and dirty but you’d also be concerned with insects and parasites.
Sleeping on an acutal bed, off the ground, helps cut down on the infestation of jiggers. It also gives kids a chance of a good nights sleep, which helps them in school. Grandmothers can sleep in comfort for their tired, elderly bones.

When you go to sleep tonight please say a thank you for the warm bed you have, a prayer for those who donated funds for these beds and for the families who received them. I would also like to say thank you to Peter for his hard work and organizational skills on this.
