Last Thursday the kids were so excited….we were going to Skype with a class in the US. But as they say, this is Kenya. Two minutes before we were to start the electricity went out. We got the generator set up so I wouldn’t run out of computer battery but then the internet just would not cooperate.

While I continued to try and connect with skype Chuck showed the kids an old picture sent to him which showed many of them at a very young age! They thought that was pretty cool.
Unfortunately I never did get the internet to work so no skyping for the kids and we were all bummed.
But a few of the kids also received gifts from their sponsors. If you are a sponsor please do not be surprised if your child asks for a photo album! That is one popular request right now…along with requests for photos!
