Our Class 8 graduates, Kevin and Doris, are waiting for their KCPE (Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) results and their invitation letters to secondary schools.  So while their brothers and sisters have left for secondary and the primary kids are all in school they are home keeping busy with daily chores!  Honestly we don’t really have to tell them to help, they just do.  I don’t believe they are bored, but I do think they are ready for school to begin.

kevin-listening-to-musicKevin has also been reading books.  We have Great Illustrated Classics which he reads in a day, so for the past five days he’s been reading a book a day.  I’ve asked him about the books so he is comprehending them too 🙂  Now he’s reading The Chronicles of Narnia series and loves it!

Meanwhile Chuck and I walk around the property, checking progress and feeding the cows!
