Ok, I just had to relay this story. I’m actually still scratching my head but this is the truth!
I found a place near our post office where I can purchase movies. I let him know when I’ll be in the area and he has them ready. Sounds like a good deal, right?
The other day I requested Dark Shadows, paid and took it home. I began watching it and about half way through the dvd just stopped playing. I tried everything, cleaning the machine and the dvd but nothing worked.
I text the owner and told him the issue and said I’d return the movie next time I’m in the area. He wrote me back, and here’s where I have to scratch my head, he said the dvd would stop because he doesn’t have the second half of the movie! So he sold me half a movie! I wrote him back and said that would be an important thing to tell me if he wants to continue to do business with me! Also told him if this happens again he wouldn’t see me anymore! Why on earth would anyone want half a movie!? Is half a movie better than none? I say a resounding NO…call me crazy but I want the entire movie!
Next time I visit him I’ll certainly have a talk with him….no way to keep customers in my opinion! Hoping to get the entire Dark Shadows too!
