I may sound like a broken record but we are approaching the point where construction will be put on hold because of lack of funds for the mission home.  Since my last plea at the beginning of this week we have received an additional stone (thank you donor!)….we are now at 344 stones out of the 500 goal.

It’s not a question of ‘will God provide?’ but for me it’s always the surprise of how He provides.  From the beginning of this ministry God has encouraged us to simply tell people the need and direction He has for Saved By God’s Grace and Caring For Kenya’s Kids and He would move peoples hearts to assist.  I still believe that wholeheartedly and I’m here telling you.

I’m not going to lie and say this home is all about having groups come visit and stay, it will also be our personal residence where we will be on the compound with the kids 24/7.  One of the things God impressed upon us to move to Kenya was how important it is to be a part of the community…living here at C4KK will certainly make us part of the community.  And as a side benefit, we’ll be saving approximately $375 per month (between gas for travel back and forth and electricity we pay at our current compound).

But yes this mission home will also be able to accommodate groups up to 12 (possibly 16) people!  That means a safe, comfortable place for groups to call a “home base”, who are either working with our kids at C4KK or other organizations in the area.

Again we put the request out there and wait for God to move in His perfect timing!  Thank you for your prayerful consideration to assist with this project and to those who have helped in the past.  For more information or to donate please visit our website.

May you have a blessed Easter celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!
