Last night Chuck read in the newspaper the primary teachers were planning on going on strike today, but no further info was given (or if they were even going to strike).

This morning the kids left for school then shortly thereafter they all came back…teachers had gone on strike.  So what do you do with 19 kids (we have 10 in secondary who weren’t affected by the strike….so far) sitting around being bored?

Peter, our social worker, sat them down for some school work!

Rod played some UNO with the kids (always a highlight for them!)

Bobbie and I put another coat of paint on the C4KK sign.  Of course this was after she went to the doctor for sinus/eye issues.  Please keep her in prayer for healing.

And PJ (our kitten from home) is settling into her new home…slowly!

We are praying the teachers settle their strike (they were supposed to have a meeting this afternoon, so we are waiting for word) and the kids can go back to school…although if Rod continues to play UNO with them they may vote for a continuance on the strike!
