Whew, according to our blog countdown timer we have approximately 2 days and 16 hours before leaving Kenya for 4 months.
Yesterday we were able to take a breath and visit with our little guy Timothy (he is Benjamin’s son who works for C4KK)
But it was back to it on Monday where we are cramming learning into each minute we can. Bosco is learning to email, scan and organize on the computer (very well I might add) and today he made an attempt at Facebook! You can tell by the look in his eyes he is a bit overwhelmed, but I have faith God will see him through.
I’ve set up so many gmail accounts for employees that gmail thinks I’m a spammer! Seems people now what some way to stay in touch 🙂
The video I am working on is just about finished….I simply can not take good video, sorry for all who will see it but at least you get a good idea of C4KK.
Final touches have been put on the slide show I am working on and I have a request in to friends for the printing of an information sheet which will be handed out at our speaking engagements.
Packing for four months is not done yet, hoping to get that done tomorrow. But our food in the fridge looks to come down to just about right 🙂 No waste there!
I’m also hoping to charge up all my electronics tomorrow (can’t wait until Wednesday just in case there is no electricity, better to be ready the day before!).
We are hoping Wednesday will be a chill and relax with friends day….sounds like the perfect time for tea! Thank you all for your continued prayers both for our safe travel and the staff at C4KK.
